Okays Key Safe Chrome Plated

I HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST OKAY WHEN I WAS STATIONED AT FAIRCHILD AFB SPOKANE WA. IT STAYED WITH ME THRU DESERT STORM WITHOUT FAIL. AFTER GETTING HONORABLY DISCHARGED FROM THE USAF I WENT INTO LAW ENFORCEMENT/ CORRECTIONS AND AGAIN IT CONTINUED TO SERVE ITS PURPOSE. I THEN LEFT LAW ENFORCEMENT AND GOT EMPLOYED WITH UNION PACIFIC R.R. AS A CONDUCTOR. 5 YEARS WITH UPRR BUT A UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT ON THE JOB WHICH RESULTED IN I RECEIVING A HERNIATED DISC IN MY NECK AND A TEAR OF THE LABRUM IN MY LEFT SHOULDER BUT AGAIN "OKAY" WAS "OKAY."I THEN RECOVERED AND BEGAN A CAREER IN THE OIL FIELD INDUSTRY AS A SAFETY/ DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR/ DIRECTOR AND MY TRUSTY "OKAY" IS STILL WITH ME. BUT FROM THE EARLY 90'S TILL TODAY IT HAS EXTREME SENTIMENTAL VALUE. IT MAY SOUND ODD BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS. SO ITS TIME TO RETIRE "OKAY" AND PUT IT WITH THE REST OF MY VALUED ITEMS. JUST A SMALL ITEM BUT SERVED SUCH A HUGE ROLL IN MY CAREERS.

Keep one at home as a spare because, sometimes when you take your belt off your pants, the key safe falls off into "Lost Land" under the bed or in between the chair cushions. You'll need a spare one because, once you get used to this key ring. You'll always want it on your hip because, IT REALLY IS that "Handy" ! You'll be lost without it groping for keys on your hip that are not there. Works GREAT at securing my pocket knife as well (never lose it again)

My father & my grandfather were locksmiths in central WA for decades. I recently found the one that my father used to use. Lots of wear on it, but still works great! He was a locksmith in 1972 when I was born & using it then. I am buying another because I like looking at this one & seeing the wear marks from decades of use. I'm tired of getting holes in my Levi's where my keys rub all day at work.

I was looking for a replacement Okay's key safe, not because mine failed, but because I was afraid they may become unavailable at some point. I wish I worked as well after 30 years!
